That’s a Wrap on Our Second Nebraska Cast & Crew Meeting!
Attendance and our collective commitment to uniting the Nebraska film industry with a strong, unified voice and clear standards are growing.
Yes, we laughed about “Nebraska, not so nice,”—but let’s shift the narrative. Let’s replace 'nice' with kind and firm.
We reflected on what we’ve tolerated, celebrated what we’ve accomplished, and acknowledged the work ahead. Now, let’s take action:
✅ Advocate for a Film Grant Advisory Committee. We urge the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED) to collaborate with industry professionals to develop grant policies and procedures that genuinely support our industry.
K.C. Belitz, Director
✅ Push for the Film Tax Credit to be funded. It’s time to ensure the film tax credit gets the attention—and funding—it deserves.
